This is one of my favourite Visionaires as it really shows what Visionaire is all about, pushing the boundaries of publishing through use of multimedia. In this issue Visionaire collaborated with the illustrator Francois Berthoud and luxury fashion house Fendi to interpret looks from the autumn/winter 2000-2001 collections. The issue used a number of different printing and appliqué techniques such as glow in the dark, pop-up, flocking and foil-stamping to present pieces from designers such as Alexander McQueen, Viktor and Rolf, Chanel, John Galliano and Helmut Lang. The unbound cards came wrapped in a pony skin inside a gold lattice work metal box and are large in size (53cmx25cm). The issue was produced in an edition size of 4400.
